Food

Food is memory in color—a grandmother’s hands, the sizzle of oil, the first mango of summer. I photograph food as I experience it—mindfully and with all my senses. There’s poetry in steam and beauty in a broken dosa. I don’t overstyle; I listen to the dish and let it speak for itself.
